About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Support Worker to join our team at SureCare Central Cheshire. As a Care Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing person-centred care and support to our clients, enabling them to live independently in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing personal care, washing, and dressing, oral care
  • Providing emotional support
  • Food preparation
  • Support with medication administration
  • Support within the community
  • Domestic tasks
  • Respite care
  • Sleeping nights

Requirements:

  • Employment is subject to satisfactory enhanced DBS check, satisfactory references, and the right to work in the UK
  • Completion of all SureCare theoretical and practical training
  • Required to work alternative weekends
  • No experience or qualifications needed, although experience is advantageous
  • Full and valid driver's licence with own transport is essential

Benefits:

  • Hourly rates: £12.60 for weekdays, £13.70 for evenings (after 6pm) and for weekends
  • Bank holidays: £18.90 in the day and £20.55 after 6pm. Christmas Day and New Year's Day are both paid at double time
  • Paid travel time for travelling between clients' homes
  • Paid mileage 30p per mile in addition to paid travel time
  • Opportunity for pay increases as you become more qualified
