**Director of Clinical Services**

About the Role

The successful candidate will have:

  • Registered healthcare professional status (NMC, HCPC, or equivalent recognised body)
  • Proven leadership experience in clinical settings, preferably within the independent sector
  • In-depth knowledge of service redesign, clinical pathways, and system reform
  • Regulatory Knowledge: healthcare regulations, industry standards, and NHS contract requirements
  • Strong understanding of clinical governance, quality assurance, and compliance with relevant policies

You will lead and manage the clinical services team to ensure the delivery of safe, efficient, and high-quality care across the hospital. Key responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing clinical operations, including staffing, training, and professional development of the clinical team
  • Driving clinical governance, including incident management, audits, and compliance with policies and regulations
  • Leading quality improvement initiatives, monitoring clinical outcomes, and implementing solutions to enhance patient care
  • Engaging with patients, families, and other stakeholders to gather feedback and drive improvements in service delivery
