We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team and provide high-quality care and support to a young adult with cerebral palsy and complex needs.
Key Responsibilities- Enable the client to engage in rehabilitation, social, and recreational activities
- Empower the client to be as independent as possible
- Provide 2-1 care 24/7, including flexible support during holidays and weekends
- Excellent communication skills
- Desire to provide individualized support
- Previous care experience with young adults preferred
- Ability to participate in a range of activities with the client, including hydrotherapy and outdoor pursuits
- Full, clean UK driving licence (experience of driving a wheelchair-accessible vehicle preferable but not essential)
- Dependable and professional, with a positive attitude and ability to motivate and engage
- Experience of working with clients with brain injury preferred
- Flexible and able to work well under pressure
We offer a bespoke Case Management Service for people of all ages, with a particular emphasis on those recovering from acquired brain injuries. Our aim is to empower and support individuals to reach their full potential and maximize their rehabilitation opportunities.
