Renal Equipment Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our Renal Technical Services team as a Renal Equipment Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for providing a maintenance, repair, and support service for a wide range of renal devices, including highly complex and patient-critical equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and prioritize your own assigned work, including non-routine breakdown requests and emergency situations.
- Perform commissioning and acceptance tests on newly purchased and loan equipment.
- Participate in and contribute to the Quality Management System, adhering to Health Board and Departmental policies and procedures.
- Assist in the development and implementation of new policies and procedures, particularly in areas related to your competency.
Requirements
- Minimum relevant qualification/knowledge of medical device management/quality.
- Experience in repair or maintenance of equipment, organizing repair or maintenance, or IT systems experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
