Pick for Britain is a great partner to support young people with additional needs. We are excited to collaborate with a fantastic Primary and KS3 SEND School based in the Birmingham area, which offers a varied curriculum tailored to meet the unique requirements of its students.

About the Role:

This school follows a bespoke teaching approach that focuses on developing social, emotional, and personal abilities in children with social, emotional, and mental health difficulties. Their culture is built around patience, inclusivity, and empowering children and young people with disabilities to achieve their full potential while promoting independence.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Supporting children and young people with Autism, Severe Learning Difficulties, challenging behaviour, and Social Emotional Mental Health
  2. Delivering therapeutic practices to help students overcome various challenges
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience working with children and young people with additional needs, specifically Autism, Learning Difficulties or Attention Deficit Disorder/Mental health
Compensation:

The salary range for this position is £130-£190 per week. As a PAYE employee, you can be assured of paying the correct level of TAX and National Insurance, with no admin charges deducted from your earnings.
