Workshop Controller Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Workshop Controller to join our team at Kream, a prestigious Truck and LCV Service Centre affiliated with a leading manufacturer.

As a Workshop Controller, you will be responsible for supervising, organizing, and motivating a team of automotive technicians in a fast-paced commercial Aftersales environment. Your expertise in leading a team, dealing with customers and suppliers, and managing the operational running of a workshop will be essential in driving our business forward.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of skilled technicians to ensure efficient and effective workshop operations
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Manage supplier relationships to ensure timely and cost-effective parts delivery
  • Monitor and analyze workshop performance metrics to identify areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement business growth strategies

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a commercial Aftersales environment
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and suppliers
  • Extensive knowledge of workshop operations, including scheduling, inventory management, and quality control
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a flexible approach to work and a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances
