About the Role

Mitchell Maguire is seeking an experienced Area Sales Representative to join our team in the Plastic Building Products sector. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for selling a range of plastic building products to general builders, commercial contractors, and other industry professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sell plastic building products such as fascias, guttering, cladding, decking, sills, drainage, roofing, insulation, windows, doors, and bathroom panels to general builders, commercial contractors, and other industry professionals.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key customers to increase sales and revenue.
  • Work closely with the Area Manager and Sales Director to achieve sales targets and expand the company's presence in the market.
  • Attend industry events and trade shows to promote the company's products and services.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to ensure the company remains competitive.
Requirements
  • Proven sales experience in the construction industry, preferably with a focus on plastic building products.
  • Strong knowledge of the construction industry and its key players.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on achieving sales targets.
  • Computer literate and proficient in using sales software and other technology tools.
