Porter - Hotel Services

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Hotel Services team as a Portering Assistant. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for transporting patients and staff around the hospital, ensuring that our patients receive the highest level of care and service.
Key Responsibilities- Transport patients and staff between wards and departments using various methods of transportation.
- Respond to emergency situations and requests for medical gas and specimen collection.
- Deliver patient meal trolleys and other food provisions to wards.
- Support the Helpdesk team and provide cover for absence.
- Clean and maintain equipment used in the provision of the service.
- Previous experience of dealing face-to-face with the general public.
- Previous experience of working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
- Good standard of basic education with GCSE A-C or equivalent English and Maths.
