Job Title: Health and Social Care Lecturer

Reed Further Education is currently working with a college in Birmingham who are looking for a Health and Social Care Lecturer who is passionate about the subject and can inspire learners. The role is temporary ongoing during term times.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver engaging and informative lectures in Health and Social Care to a diverse group of learners.
  • Prepare lesson plans and teaching materials that meet the curriculum requirements and the needs of all students.
  • Assess, monitor, support and record student progress.
  • Provide academic and pastoral support to students through a structured tutorial system.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of a range of educational programmes.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, committees, and college-wide initiatives.
  • Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with industry practices and educational methodologies.
Requirements:
  • A recognised Teaching Qualification.
  • Relevant Health and Social Care/Health Science qualification at a minimum of Level 3.
  • Maths and English at a minimum of Level 2.
  • Relevant industrial experience.
