Learning Support Specialist KS1

We are seeking an experienced Learning Support Specialist to join our team at Long Term Futures Ltd, providing vital support to KS1 students with special educational needs in Hackney.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective strategies to meet the individual needs of each child, working closely with teaching staff to ensure positive learning outcomes.
Main Duties:
- Providing group support to small groups of KS1 children with SEN, adapting resources and activities to suit their individual needs.
- Collaborating with teaching staff to design and deliver interventions that promote positive learning outcomes.
- Fostering a positive learning environment that supports each child's growth and development.
- Monitoring and tracking each child's progress, providing regular feedback to the teaching team to inform future support plans.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with young children with SEN, ideally in a group setting or within KS1.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a patient and caring approach.
- Ability to adapt to each child's unique needs and circumstances.
- Dedication to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all students.
