Business Development Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced and driven Business Development Manager / Systems Design and Sales Consultant to join our team in the London area.

About the Role

This role is critical to our growth strategy, focusing on the design and tendering of all systems, and playing a key part in driving sales and profitability across our projects within Fire & Security.

  • Responsibilities will include identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the systems design and integration sector;
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and presenting tailored solutions;
  • Developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve and exceed targets;
  • Monitoring industry trends and competitor activities to identify new market opportunities;
Key Requirements
  • A minimum of 8 years' experience in systems design, tendering, and sales within the relevant industry;
  • A proven track record of success in a similar role, with the ability to deliver profitable projects;
  • A strong understanding of industry standards, technologies, and best practices in systems design and integration;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels;
  • Strong technical acumen, with the ability to understand complex systems and convey this knowledge to clients;
  • Strategic thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail;
  • A self-motivated and results-oriented individual with a drive to achieve and exceed targets;
Additional Information
  • The ideal candidate will be based near Epping, Essex, due to the majority of work being in the London area.
  • A full UK driving license is required.
  • There may be a requirement to travel as needed to meet client needs and attend site visits.

The estimated annual salary for this position is £60,000 - £80,000, commensurate with experience.
