Job Title: Community Podiatrist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Community Podiatrist to join our team at Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust. As a Community Podiatrist, you will be responsible for managing a specialist community caseload, assessing and treating patients with complex foot pathologies, and working in partnership with patients and other service users to deliver high-quality care.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive team, providing care to patients with a range of foot health needs. You will be responsible for:

  • Managing a specialist community caseload, including assessing and treating patients with complex foot pathologies
  • Working in partnership with patients and other service users to deliver high-quality care
  • Identifying local need for podiatry services and evaluating priorities to deliver care accordingly
  • Managing capacity and demand within contractual agreements
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • BSc Podiatry (or equivalent) and HCPC registration
  • Good interpersonal skills, effective listening and speaking skills, and the ability to communicate complex information
  • Approachable and empathetic approach to patient care
  • Experience of working in a multidisciplinary team and within the NHS
