About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Clinical Psychologist to join our Early Intervention in Psychosis (EIP) team in Southampton. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing timely support to service users in line with national and local guidelines for people experiencing first episode psychosis.

Main Responsibilities
  • Offer direct input to service users and their families, providing supervision, consultation, and training to team staff.
  • Work closely with colleagues in local services and across the Trust, contributing to the development of effective care pathways.
  • Participate in the EIP team's efforts to promote a diverse, multi-cultural community, and engage with service users and their families in a respectful and empathetic manner.

Person Specification
  • Doctoral level training in psychology, including models of psychopathology, clinical psychometrics, and neuropsychology.
  • Registered with the Health Care Professions Council as a Psychologist.
  • Training and qualifications in CBT, family work, research methodology, staff training, and/or other fields of applied psychology.
