Formulation Technician II

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a highly skilled Formulation Technician II to join our team. As a key member of our laboratory operations team, you will be responsible for the preparation of antimicrobial solutions, set-up and monitoring of production dispensing pumps, and manufacture of vital ancillary solutions.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare antimicrobial solutions in accordance with relevant SOPs and production paperwork.
- Set-up and monitor production dispensing pumps to ensure on-time and quality production output.
- Manufacture various vital ancillary solutions, including ID media, buffers, and excipients.
- Conduct compliance checks of laboratory equipment and instrumentation.
- Maintain and supervise raw material stock levels.
- Support the laboratory by washing and autoclaving equipment.
- Use computer software to process information and support laboratory operations.
- Capable of following standard operating procedures and H&S guidelines.
- Good partnership and interpersonal skills.
- Able to coordinate and prioritize tasks under own initiative.
- Attention to detail when following procedures and keeping manual records.
- Ability to perform sophisticated manual tasks with dexterity.
- Basic digital literacy is beneficial.
- Laboratory or similar experience is an advantage.
This role is offered on a 3-week rotating daytime only shift pattern, including one weekend in three. Average 38 hours per week inside the laboratory operating hours of 0700-1700.
