About the Opportunity

A fantastic chance has arisen for a passionate Modern Foreign Languages Teacher to join our high-achieving secondary school in the Wolverhampton area. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspiring students and fostering a love for languages such as French, Spanish, or German.

Job Description
  • Teach French, Spanish, or German across Key Stages 3 and 4, ensuring lessons are interactive and enjoyable.
  • Create dynamic lesson plans that focus on language acquisition, grammar, and cultural knowledge.
  • Monitor and report on student progress, providing targeted support to help them achieve their best.
  • Collaborate with the MFL department to develop engaging resources and share best practices to enrich the language curriculum.
About You

We are looking for a qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) with a degree in Modern Foreign Languages or a related subject. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching at KS3 and KS4, with KS5 experience seen as a plus.

Requirements
  • QTS or equivalent, with a degree in MFL or related discipline
  • Experience teaching French, Spanish, or German at KS3 and KS4, with KS5 experience advantageous
  • Strong communication skills, creativity in lesson planning, and the ability to inspire students to enjoy language learning
  • Dedication to supporting the school's mission of academic excellence and contributing to the success of the MFL department

The estimated salary for this role is £42,000 per annum.
