Whittington Health NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Specialist Occupational Therapist to join our team. As a Clinical Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our occupational therapy service, providing evidence-based care, and leading a team of occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and support staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement standardized and non-standardized assessments and therapeutic interventions for older adults in the acute setting.
  2. Manage risk and make decisions related to patient care and discharge to achieve safe and positive outcomes.
  3. Lead and manage a team of occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and support staff, providing clinical and managerial supervision.
  4. Contribute to the strategic development of the In-patient Therapy Service and work closely with Clinical Leads OT & PT to manage operational responsibilities.
  5. Ensure the operational management of allocated teams, including recruitment, staffing rotas, supervision, appraisal, and mandatory training compliance.
