About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrician to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in electrical installation, maintenance, and repair.

The successful candidate can expect a very competitive market rate of around £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Install cable containment systems safely and to a high standard.
  • Install, gland, terminate, and test cable systems according to BS 7671 and manufacturer's instructions.
  • Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits using testing devices to ensure compatibility and safety.
  • Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
  • Work at height to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures while adhering to safe working procedures.
  • Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, ensuring compliance with codes.
  • Advise management on whether continued operation of equipment could be hazardous.
  • Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures based on job specifications and standards.
