Diverse Abilities is seeking a Childcare and Support Team Member to join our team at the Weymouth Outdoor Education Centre.

The successful candidate will provide childcare and support services to children and young people with emotional needs and disabilities, promoting positive outcomes and maintaining their physical and emotional safety and wellbeing.

This role requires staff to support complex children on a 1:1 basis and maintain the facilities in a healthy, safe, clean, and tidy state.

The estimated salary for this position is £28,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.

  • Key responsibilities include:
  • Support and Care: Provide childcare and support services to children and young people with emotional needs and disabilities.
  • Facilities Maintenance: Maintain facilities in a healthy, safe, clean, and tidy state.
  • Reporting and Communication: Report back to parents about the child's experience. Discuss and report concerns with senior staff.
