The estimated salary for this role is £547.50 - £685.44 per day.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary representative in matters of statutory compliance.
  • Ensure the organisation adheres to current health and safety legislation, approved codes of practice, and guidance related to its assets.
  • Support colleagues at operational and management levels to establish and maintain systems promoting safe working practices throughout the organisation.
  • Provide senior management with advice on the implications of current and emerging health and safety legislation, including evaluating options, making recommendations, and generating action plans for compliance across their area of responsibility.
  • Conduct audits and inspections across the portfolio to ensure compliance with council policies and procedures, as well as legislation, and support the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
  • Lead the provision of health and safety training, information, instruction, and advice.
