Job Summary:

Clinical Team Leaders are required to provide expert assessments and leadership in Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment Teams within Derby City and South County. This role involves collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure patients receive high-quality care and support.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a dynamic approach, and the ability to assess and lead on clinical decision making. Opportunities for secondment or permanent contracts are available, with flexible working options and a competitive salary of £39,693 - £44,045 per annum, plus additional benefits.

Main Responsibilities:
  • To provide first-line assessments of people experiencing acute mental health difficulties and act as gatekeepers to acute admissions.
  • To rapidly assess individuals with mental health problems who are vulnerable to hospital admission.
  • To coordinate the Crisis and Home Treatment Team on a shift-by-shift basis, acting as Duty Worker to triage referrals, plan activities, and lead the team accordingly.
