About the Position

We are looking for a Civic Service Worker to join our team, contributing to the upkeep and maintenance of public areas within Kirklees.

This is a part-time role, involving approximately 11.5 hours of work per week, Monday to Friday afternoons.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop skills and knowledge in waste management, customer service, and teamwork.

Our hourly rate of £11.50 reflects our commitment to providing fair compensation for valuable contributions to the council's objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and maintaining public spaces, including litter collection and graffiti removal
  • Assisting with special events and projects, as required
  • Providing excellent customer service and responding to resident inquiries
