Lead a dynamic radiology team at Lumbry Park Veterinary Specialists
We are seeking an experienced veterinary imaging specialist to join our specialist-led multidisciplinary clinical team. As a diagnostic imaging consultant, you will become part of a highly motivated team that includes residents, specialty and general interns, skilled nurses, and support staff.
The radiology team currently employs two full-time ECVDI Specialists, three residents, a diagnostic imaging intern, three radiographers, and one diagnostic imaging technician. This role can be tailored to either full-time (four days per week) or part-time.
We are in the process of installing a state-of-the-art Siemens Magnetom Flow 1.5 T MRI scanner, the first of its kind in both human and veterinary healthcare in the UK. We also have a state-of-the-art CT scanner, digital radiography, and high-end ultrasound units. We collaborate extensively with other services within the hospital to optimize patient care.
Benefits:
We offer an exceptional remuneration package, including five weeks of holiday (pro rata) plus bank holidays, an industry-leading contributory pension, and a competitive salary commensurate with experience, among many other benefits.
Furthermore, we support further career progression with a generous CPD allowance and associated time off. CVS provides a wide range of internal CPD courses, not exclusively focused on clinical work, allowing those interested in diversifying their skill set to benefit. Additionally, there are opportunities for clinical research and teaching.
We are deeply committed to supporting the well-being of our staff. Our wellness program includes an Employee Assistance Programme with Health Assured, an optional health shield cash plan, Mental Health First Aiders, and Wellbeing Champions within the practice. We also have a refresh fund that provides breakfast mornings, among other initiatives.
