Technical Business Analyst - PAS and Claims

We are seeking a skilled Technical Business Analyst to join our team at Pioneer Search. As a Technical Business Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting our client's Agile driven transformation and ensuring the successful delivery of their Sequel Product Suite.

The ideal candidate will have experience in supporting Sequel Platform and a strong understanding of the London Market business processes. You will be responsible for managing day-to-day technical and business needs of the servicing platforms and working closely with delivery teams to translate business requirements into user stories.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Producing high-quality analysis and providing clear and concise feedback
  • Clearly understanding processes from technical and user perspectives and their impact on the business
  • Working closely with delivery teams to translate business requirements into user stories
  • Ensuring robust business user testing is performed and signed off at the business and senior IT levels
  • Building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Business Analyst experience within specialty insurance and previously worked on Policy Admin and Claims Systems
  • Experience of delivering insurance products and knowledge of different product offerings and underwriting tools
  • Experience in data models, APIs, and SQL
  • Experience in Kanban and Scrum, as well as Agile methodology
  • Strong relationship management skills, with a keen eye for detail and excellent analytical thinking
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail
