Business Systems Analyst - Trading Platforms

We are seeking a skilled Business Systems Analyst to join our dedicated in-house technology team at CMC Markets. As a Business Systems Analyst, you will play a crucial role in creating and managing a work pipeline to deliver new features and technology advancements to our customer-facing proprietary trading platforms across Web and Mobile Apps.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders, developers, and other analysts to analyze, specify, and document requirements for new product features;
  • Work with the development team to plan and execute change delivery, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of new features;

Quality Assurance

  • Conduct regular regression testing across the trading platforms and help maintain regression test packs;
  • Work with other analysts, developers, and test analysts to review business and technical requirements and prepare test cases;
  • Investigate issues in the test and development environment and provide support to the team;

Requirements

  • A strong background in financial services, with a good understanding of financial markets and retail trading platforms;
  • Experience working on requirements analysis and quality assurance testing within a technology team;
  • Experience creating UI mockups/wireframes for feature design on customer-facing platforms across web and mobile;
  • Experience of manual testing on web and mobile platforms;
  • Preferred experience of automation testing on web and mobile platforms;
  • Basic understanding of waterfall and agile development methodologies;
  • Demonstrable track-record of work in an agile environment;
  • Able to work effectively with minimal supervision, taking ownership of tasks large and small;
