Procurement Officer

About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our Medicines Procurement and Homecare Team within the Pharmacy department at Cardiff and Vale University Health Board.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for ordering medicines and chasing outstanding orders under the supervision of a pharmacy technician. They will also be responsible for developing knowledge, skills, and experience in day-to-day delivery of pharmacy procurement service.
Requirements
- Vocational Level 3 or equivalent training
- 5 GCSE's / O levels or equivalent experience
- ECDL / IT skills
- Commitment to personal development
Desirable Skills and Qualifications
- Working with and reporting from databases and spreadsheet applications
- Collating audit reports
- Stock control
- Policy / Procedure development
