About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Family Support Worker to join our Assessment team in Children's Services. As a Senior Family Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in providing short-term help and support to families, working in a fast-paced environment to assess and address concerns regarding a child or young person's safety or wellbeing.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Provide high-quality assessments and interventions with children and their families to address concerns and improve outcomes.
  • Work collaboratively with other agencies, partners, and stakeholders to provide a comprehensive support package for families.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with families, children, and young people to build trust and confidence.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of family support plans, ensuring that they are tailored to meet the unique needs of each family.
  • Work flexibly to meet the needs of the service, including evenings and weekends as required.
