Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Lead to join our team at Greenwich Health Ltd. As a Clinical Lead, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and expertise within our Urgent Treatment Centre (UTC) and Out of Hours Home Visiting (OOH HV) service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical leadership and expertise within the UTC and OOH HV service
  • Work autonomously within your sphere of competency as a clinician in a diverse, multi-skilled team
  • Respond to 111 referrals and visit patients at their homes to provide care
  • Develop and implement clinical management and treatment changes when appropriate
  • Contribute to specific care guidelines and standards supporting the care of patients across the health economy
  • Implement Health and Safety and Risk Management appropriate to the area of work
  • Deliver aspects of the Clinical Governance Agenda, following the direction of the Clinical Leadership
  • Contribute to and manage various elements of auditing in the OOH HV service

Requirements

  • Nursing, Paramedic or equivalent Qualification
  • Triage/Clinical Assessment Qualification
  • Independent prescribing Qualification
  • Minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience
  • In-depth therapeutic and clinical knowledge and understanding of the principles of evidence-based healthcare
  • Recent post-registration experience in clinical assessment
  • A background in ED, Urgent Care or Emergency Care
  • Demonstrate the ability to communicate complex and sensitive information in an understandable form to a variety of audiences
  • Excellent interpersonal, influencing and negotiating skills
  • Demonstrates accountability for delivering professional expertise and direct service provision
  • Qualified Emergency Care Practitioner (Minor Injuries and Minor illnesses Level 6 or above)
  • Mandatory registration with Nursing and Midwifery Council, HCPC or other relevant professional body

  • Information Governance toolkit completion
  • Immunisation Status
