About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Service Lead to join our team at Police Digital Services. As a key member of our National Management Centre, you will be responsible for leading our Detect activities and ensuring the quality and delivery of our service.

Key responsibilities include engagement with all aspects of the NMC to ensure efficient and robust service delivery, as well as accountability for the evolution and development of our Protective Monitoring service. You will also be responsible for managing related documentation and processes, such as playbooks and WINS.

The successful candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced operational security environment, driving and motivating a team, and working in a customer-facing environment. They will also possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, knowledge of various security methodologies and processes, and hands-on experience with IP networks and commonly deployed Cyber Security tools.

The salary for this role is £60,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including 28 days' annual leave plus bank holidays, flexible working hours, and an excellent pension scheme.
