Hours: 20 Hours per week
Salary: Up to £26,707 per annum pro rata
About the RoleThe Location Manager role is a diverse and challenging position that involves working with various departments across the organisation. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing property matters, tenancy issues, and relationships with residents while fostering connections with the community.
Key Responsibilities- Manage properties and support residents to live independent lives, ensuring their needs are met and their well-being is maintained.
- Let properties, manage rent accounts, address anti-social behaviour, and oversee repairs to ensure homes are well-maintained and safe.
- Listen to residents' concerns and address issues promptly to prevent complaints from escalating.
- Investigate and resolve complaints thoroughly, ensuring residents are heard and informed.
- Maintain resident trust and confidence through effective communication, setting clear expectations, and delivering on promises.
- Manage the location's budget and service charge accounts to ensure homes are well-maintained and repairs are completed to a high standard.
- Ensure the location is safe, and all health and safety checks and risk assessments are conducted in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with external agencies, such as local authorities and care providers, to support residents in living independently.
- Encourage resident inclusion in social events, both internally and in the wider community.
We're seeking an individual who shares our values and has excellent relationship management and communication skills. Ideally, you'll have previous housing or care experience and have worked with vulnerable client groups. However, we're more interested in your attitude, resilience, problem-solving ability, and willingness to learn.
