Job Title: Senior Administrator
Job Summary:
GEM Partnership is delighted to be exclusively working with Sunderland AFC in their recruitment of a Senior Administrator, reporting to the Chief Business Officer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Executive team and the CBO with daily administration and initiatives for the Club.
- Oversee special projects as directed by the executive team, ensuring deadlines are met and objectives are achieved.
- Supporting the day-to-day administration across various departments within the Club.
- Implement processes within the role and within departments.
- Ensuring administrative systems and processes are efficient and well-managed.
- Prepare reports and presentations for management, board and external meetings.
- Organising and managing meetings and events including VIP guest lists, parking requirements and tickets.
- Co-ordinating diaries and arranging travel/accommodation.
- Liaising with members of the football community, which includes senior executives, and stakeholders outside of the Club.
- Attending matches, conferences and networking events as required.
Requirements:
- Stellar track record in a similar Administrator role.
- Exceptional communication at all levels, proficient in verbal and written communication, with the ability to represent the CBO effectively.
- Discretion and Confidentiality, handling sensitive information with integrity and professionalism.
- Experience of working in a fast-paced environment.
- Remaining calm under pressure and able to react when circumstances change at pace.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as a team when required.
- Understanding of the need for compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
- Critical thinking skills.
- Professional and friendly demeanour.
- Thorough attention to detail and discretion.
- Self-motivated and proactive.
- Flexibility regarding working hours (i.e. evening and weekend matchdays).
