Job Title: KS1 Classroom Teacher - Primary Education Specialist

Job Summary:
Dunbar Education is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a vibrant and welcoming primary school in Oxfordshire. We are seeking an enthusiastic KS1 Classroom Teacher to join the school on a maternity cover contract. This is an exciting opportunity to work with children who are eager to learn and to become part of a dedicated and supportive team, committed to helping each pupil reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the Year 1 curriculum
Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that promotes learning
Monitor and assess pupils' progress, providing feedback to ensure continued development
Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a cohesive approach to teaching and learning
Manage classroom behaviour effectively, ensuring a positive and productive learning atmosphere
Communicate regularly with parents and carers, providing updates on pupils' progress and achievements
Contribute to the wider school community and participate in school events and activities
Support the continued development of school initiatives and teaching practices

Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching KS1, particularly Year 1
Highly motivated and enthusiastic, with high expectations for pupils' achievement and behaviour
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to work collaboratively with staff and parents
Well-organised and able to plan and deliver effective lessons with excellent classroom management
Proven track record of improving pupils' progress and attainment
Commitment to the development of the whole school and a willingness to engage in professional development
