Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Magnetic Resonance Imaging Lead Specialist to join our team at Ramsay Health Care UK. This is a challenging opportunity for someone with a proven track record in leading clinical aspects, training, and competencies within the MRI department.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that the MRI team adheres to the latest guidelines set by regulatory bodies such as the CQC and IR(ME)R. You will also be accountable for the overall service delivery within the MRI department, including supervising and assisting specialist and junior radiographers.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in managing a team of radiographers or as a Lead, along with evidence of competence in IV cannulation. A dynamic approach, flexibility, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead on clinical aspects, training, and competencies within the MRI department.
  • Ensure compliance with CQC and IR(ME)R regulations.
  • Supervise and assist specialist and junior radiographers.
  • Develop and implement quality assurance programs.
  • Manage MRI safety investigations and audits.
