Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiographer to join our team in Breast Radiology. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing specialist mammographic examinations, including interventional procedures, and providing direct care and a high-quality diagnostic service to assist in the management of patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform specialist mammographic examinations, including interventional procedures such as pre-surgical wire insertions.
  • Provide direct care and a high-quality diagnostic service to assist in the management of patients within the directorate of Breast Radiology.
  • Provide specialist advice and training in wire localisations to specialist radiology registrars and breast sonographers.
  • Supervise and act as mentor to specialist radiology registrars, breast sonographers, specialist radiographers and student radiographers in breast radiology.

Requirements:

  • PVG Scheme membership/record.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
