Job Opportunity: Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant to join our team at a secondary SEN school in Brighton/Hove. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers to support students with ASC, SEMH, and moderate learning needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support students with anxiety, sensory needs, and moderate learning needs in a class of 8 or less pupils
- Assist in planning lessons and provide individual support to students
- Work with students on a 1-1 basis to build their confidence and provide mentorship
Requirements:
- Prior experience of supporting children or young people with learning needs
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Working Hours and Benefits:
