Substance Abuse Therapist Expert

The Adult Counsellor will play a critical role in our addiction treatment services team. This is a challenging yet rewarding position that requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a deep understanding of addiction and recovery processes.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each client's needs, incorporating evidence-based approaches such as the Modified Therapeutic Community and Motivational Interviewing models.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify areas of improvement, using standardized tools and protocols.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of client progress, including documentation of sessions, assessments, and evaluations.
- Collaborate with other professionals to ensure comprehensive care, including medical professionals, social workers, and case managers.
Requirements:
- $70,000 - $90,000 per year, based on experience.
- A bachelor's degree in a related field, such as psychology or social work.
- Certification as a LCADC or CADC is required, with a minimum of three years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
