We are now seeking a talented and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our support staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring students receive the support they need to thrive.

About the Role

The successful candidate will work on a full-time basis, supporting students with Special Educational Needs on a daily basis. This is a temporary position but could lead to a permanent contract for the right candidate.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other staff members to develop and implement individualized plans to support student success. You will also maintain accurate records of pupil progress and communicate regularly with parents and carers.

About the Ideal Candidate
  • You should have a proven track record of supporting pupils with special needs developmental support.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage pupils and differentiate work according to academic levels are essential.
  • A clear understanding of SEND-based learning is required.
Requirements
  • You must hold a Teaching Assistant qualification.
  • Experience working with challenging behaviour is necessary.
  • Previous experience in working with special needs developmental support is essential.
  • An Enhanced DBS Disclosure and professional reference checks are mandatory.
  • You will need to provide a CV with employment/education history included, explaining any employment breaks.
  • You must have the legal right to work in the UK.
Salary and Benefits
  • The salary for this role is £18,000-£22,000 per year.
