About the Job

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and compassionate individual to join our team and support students with SEMH needs. The role involves working closely with students to identify areas of need and developing strategies to improve their engagement with the curriculum. You will also be responsible for creating a safe and caring atmosphere, offering guidance to help students build resilience, confidence, and self-esteem.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing Support and Guidance: Work closely with students to identify areas of need and develop strategies to improve their engagement with the curriculum.
  • Fostering a Positive Learning Environment: Create a safe and caring atmosphere, offering guidance to help students build resilience, confidence, and self-esteem.
  • Delivering Team Teach Training: Offer free Team Teach training to successful candidates to ensure they have the skills and confidence to manage challenging behaviours.
Requirements and Benefits

We require an experienced SEMH Teaching Assistant or someone with similar experience in secondary education. This is a competitive daily rate of £86-£100, a full-time position with an immediate start, and access to professional development and specialised training, including free Team Teach training.
