Job Description:

We are currently recruiting for an experienced SEMH Teaching Assistant to join our team in Sheffield. As a primary SEMH Support Worker, you will work closely with students who require additional support due to Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

About the Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a talented team of professionals who are passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of our students. You will provide one-to-one support to students, helping them to develop their skills and knowledge, and promote academic progress and independence.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide Personalised Support: Work closely with students to identify their strengths and weaknesses, and develop a tailored support plan to meet their needs.
  2. Foster a Positive Environment: Create a safe and caring atmosphere, encouraging students to build resilience, confidence, and self-esteem.
  3. Behaviour Management: Utilise behaviour management techniques to support students in managing their emotions and behaviours.
