About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior FX OTC Settlements Analyst to join our team at Orla Rose Associates. As a key member of our FX Operations team, you will be responsible for providing daily operational support to our clients and ensuring the smooth settlement of FX transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Incoming and Outgoing FX Payments: You will be responsible for managing all incoming receipts and outgoing FX payments for clients that require taking delivery, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • FX Client Trading Limits: You will process and maintain FX client trading limits, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Stakeholder Liaison: You will liaise with key stakeholders on FX desk queries and booking FX amendments/rolls, providing timely and effective solutions.
  • Client Relationship Management: You will develop and maintain close relationships with clients to handle all FX queries, ensuring excellent customer service and satisfaction.
  • Collaboration with Treasury and Accounts: You will work closely with Treasury and Accounts to ensure smooth settlement processes, identifying and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • FX Client Position Statements: You will ensure the distribution of FX client position statements, providing clients with accurate and timely information.
  • Team Support: You will manage the team FX inbox, ensuring prompt and effective communication with team members and stakeholders.
  • Payment Netting: You will be responsible for payment netting with Liquidity Providers and Clients, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
  • Exception Management: You will identify and escalate high-risk exceptions, ensuring prompt and effective resolution.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 2-3 years' experience working in an FX payments/settlements team.
  • Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of FX settlements from trade date to settlement.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proactive Mindset: Proactive mindset and ability to work under pressure for demanding stakeholders.
  • Operational Risk: Strong understanding of Operational Risk within a middle office or operations department.
  • FX Options: Knowledge of FX Options products and associated lifecycle events.
  • Project Experience: Experience in product-related project work.
  • Trade Settlements: Experience of processing FX trade settlements.
