Key ResponsibilitiesThe People Partner will be responsible for providing strategic HR support to the Operations team, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, and driving employee engagement and retention initiatives. Key responsibilities include:
HR Compliance- Conduct regular audits to ensure staff files are accurate and compliant with company procedures and UK employment law.
- Maintain up-to-date contracts of employment, staff handbooks, and ensure ongoing compliance with legal requirements.
- Provide guidance to management on legal and compliance matters related to HR.
- Collaborate with the Operations team to manage day-to-day HR tasks, including addressing employee concerns and supporting recruitment processes.
- Administer employee surveys and enhance internal communication efforts within the hospitality business.
- Lead the handling of disciplinary and grievance matters, ensuring that procedures are followed correctly and consistently.
- Oversee investigations and ensure thorough documentation for employee relations issues.
- Maintain and manage all employee-related documentation, ensuring proper storage and compliance with company policies.
- Collect, organize, and analyze data related to key HR metrics, such as employee turnover, retention, and absence.
- Identify trends and areas for improvement based on these metrics and report findings to the Operations team and management.
- Prepare detailed reports to inform strategic HR decisions.
- Oversee the onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring seamless transitions for new and departing employees.
- Manage the administration of performance management processes and employee recognition programs.
- Ensure that company policies and procedures are consistently followed, providing leadership in implementing updates as needed.
- Lead the roll-out of new policies across departments, ensuring clear communication and adherence.
