Exciting Opportunity in Renewable Energy Asset Management

We are seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Clean Energy Analyst, based in London. As a key member of the Asset Management team at Nuveen Infrastructure, you will play a crucial role in evaluating and managing energy risks, with the ultimate objective of securing revenues.

The successful candidate will be involved in originating and structuring Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), managing relationships with key corporate and utility offtakers, hedging environmental attributes, negotiating Route-to-Market agreements, and building a diversified energy portfolio from a risk perspective.

  • Originating and structuring PPAs for assets under management
  • Supporting the Investment Team with due diligence reviews on offtake structures
  • Managing relationships with key offtakers and market access providers
  • Participating in the definition and execution of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) revenue models
  • Negotiating Route-to-Market agreements for operational and to-be-built assets
  • Building a diversified energy portfolio from a risk perspective

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Engineering, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in renewable asset-backed trading or portfolio management
  • Good knowledge of global power markets and embedded risks
  • Experience in originating and structuring corporate/utility PPAs
  • Fluency in at least one European language, with English being a plus
