About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Site Manager to join our team at Vistry Group PLC. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for supporting the Project Manager and Site Manager in the day-to-day control of the site, management and delivery of project works, and the day-to-day management and delivery of a larger scale housing project.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Project Manager and Site Manager in the day-to-day control of the site, management and delivery of project works.
  • Manage and deliver a larger scale housing project, ensuring timely completion and quality standards are met.
  • Collaborate with internal and external design teams to meet project deadlines.
  • Develop and maintain detailed plans to ensure material, resource, and supply chain delivery meets scheduled deadlines.
  • Monitor and manage sub-contractors, including contractor attendance and progress, to ensure contractual arrangements are achieved.
  • Ensure site cleanliness and presentation are maintained at all times.
  • Participate in safety initiatives and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Manage and maintain all daily, weekly, and monthly site paperwork to ensure audit compliance.

Requirements

  • SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid, and Scaffold inspection qualification.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in construction project delivery and site management.
  • Knowledge of construction processes and procedures.
