A leading care home provider in the UK is currently seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join their team. This exceptional care home, located in the Bedford area, offers a warm and friendly environment for residents.
As a key member of the care team, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Delivering high standards of care through accurate assessment, planning, and evaluation of care plans.
- Ensuring all residents' needs are met by undertaking regular handovers and maintaining accurate records.
- Supervising and deploying staff within the care team, ensuring all tasks are completed during duty periods.
- Undertaking nursing tasks, including medication distribution, wound care, and management of chronic medical conditions.
- Providing support, training, and mentoring to new staff members.
- Liaising with health and social care professionals to maintain a holistic approach to residents' care.
Preferred skills and experience include:
- Good nursing experience with a strong clinical background.
- Excellent communication and empathy skills.
- Able to write comprehensive care plans and show a can-do attitude.
- Capable of carrying out general nursing tasks, such as peg feeding and phlebotomy.
