A new opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Registered Nurse to work in a leading care home in Bedfordshire. You will be part of a team providing exceptional care to residents in a warm and friendly environment.

This care home is designed to cater to the individual needs of all residents, and as a Nurse, your key duties will include:

  • Delivering high standards of care through accurate assessment and planning, ensuring all residents' needs are continuously met.
  • Acting in line with the NMC Code of Professional Conduct and maintaining registration requirements.
  • Deploying and supervising staff within the care team, ensuring all tasks are completed during duty periods and residents receive required care.
  • Undertaking nursing tasks, including medication distribution, dressings, catheterisation, and management of chronic medical conditions.
  • Providing staff support, demonstration, and instruction of care activities, particularly in relation to induction and mentoring of new staff.
  • Liaising with health and social care professionals to maintain a holistic approach to resident care.

  • Good nursing experience.
  • Excellent clinical skills.
  • Able to write care plans.
  • Able to show empathy and warmth.
  • Able to carry out general nursing tasks such as peg feeding, wound care, and phlebotomy.
  • Able to demonstrate a can-do attitude.
