We are seeking an experienced Workshop Controller to join our team at Auto Skills UK. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for supervising and motivating our team of Service Technicians, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, and maintaining a safe and efficient workshop environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and motivate a team of Service Technicians to achieve high levels of performance and customer satisfaction.
- Implement quality checks and resolve any issues that may arise, ensuring customers are informed and reassured throughout the repair process.
- Manage the daily timekeeping of technicians and ensure a consistent level of attendance.
- Maintain relationships with vehicle manufacturers and provide technical information to technicians during repair operations.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations and maintain high standards of housekeeping and security within the workshop and surrounding areas.
- Prior experience as a Workshop Controller, Workshop Foreman, HGV Technician, or Workshop Supervisor is preferred.
- Ability to work calmly under pressure and manage a workshop environment.
- Well-developed management and leadership skills.
- A working knowledge of automotive technology, warranty systems, and the brand is beneficial.
- Ability to exceed targets and deadlines.
- A full, valid, and clean UK driving license.
- Computer literate, including Microsoft Office.
