Doddington, Cambridgeshire, United Kingdom Aspris Full time
Supporting Young People with Autism and Learning Disabilities

We're seeking a compassionate and caring Family Support Worker to join our Aspris team, supporting young people with autism and learning disabilities.

As a key member of our team, you'll provide emotional support and help with daily activities, building strong relationships and lasting memories with the young people in your care.

Our Residential Home, Children's Home March W, is a nurturing environment that supports five young people between the ages of 13 and 16 with emotional and behavioural needs. You'll work collaboratively with our team to provide a supportive and inclusive environment, encouraging the young people to develop their independence and self-care skills.

Due to the requirements of the role, a full UK driving licence is essential, and you'll have the opportunity to take the young people on outings and activities, such as theme parks, bowling alleys, and cinemas.

About the Role

We're looking for an individual who is resilient, patient, and understanding, with a natural flair for making people smile. If you're the type of person who:

  • Thrives as part of a team
  • Is always around to lend a listening ear
  • Is partial to a film night, baking, or Xbox game

This could be the perfect role for you. We'll provide all the support and training you need to build a fulfilling career, including fully funded qualifications.

What We Offer

We provide a supportive and collaborative working environment where you can flourish in your career and feel incredibly rewarded by helping those who need it most. On top of this, you'll also get access to a range of fantastic benefits, including:

  • Healthcare cash plan, wellbeing support, and loans
  • An exclusive rewards and benefits platform
  • High-street and online discounts through Blue Light Card
  • Cycle to work scheme and gym membership
  • Refer a friend bonus scheme
  • Learning and development opportunities

With a competitive hourly rate of £12.00 - £12.40, plus an average of 7 x sleep ins per month at the rate of £55 per sleep in, you'll have the opportunity to earn a good income while making a real difference in the lives of our young people.

If you're ready to join a values-led organisation that puts children at the heart of everything we do, we'd love to hear from you.
