Job Title: Data Engineer/Architect

Belcan is seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer/Architect to join our team. As a Data Engineer/Architect, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing data systems and pipelines to support business operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and organize raw data to uncover valuable insights
  • Create data models with clear data flow examples
  • Build data systems and pipelines to streamline data processing
  • Combine raw information from various sources to create a cohesive data environment
  • Enhance data quality and reliability through innovative solutions
  • Promote data literacy throughout the data lifecycle
  • Collaborate with data reporting analysts, data connection engineers, and business teams to meet business needs
  • Report on data solutions and provide regular updates on their status and performance
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field
  • 4+ years of experience in data engineering or architecture
  • Professional data engineer certification is a plus
  • Familiarity with Oracle Financials Cloud, FCCS, and Essbase
  • Proficiency in SQL Server, stored procedures, and coding
  • Deep knowledge of TCP/IP networks, operating systems, infrastructure, and cloud security
  • Strong leadership abilities to foster successful partnerships between IT and business units
Preferred Experience:
  • E4 SE experience is advantageous but not required
