Job Summary:

Primaire Consulting Ltd is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Service Engineer to join our team. As a Technical Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our clients on their industrial automation and process control systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1st and 2nd level technical support to clients on our products and services
  • Liaise with our R&D division to investigate complex technical problems and develop solutions
  • Collaborate with our engineers to provide on-site support and commissioning services
  • Deliver training courses to end-users and customers on our industrial automation and process control systems
  • Communicate effectively with customers via phone and face-to-face

Requirements:

  • Full UK driving license and willingness to travel to customer sites
  • HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Wide knowledge of PC and Server Hardware/Operating Systems
  • Experience in programming languages such as SQL, C, C++, or Visual Basics
  • Confident and comfortable with speaking to customers daily
  • History of working with DCS and industrial process control systems
  • Proven track record of PLC programming (IEC)/PLC Hardware
