McALLISTER is seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Manager to lead our Health, Safety, Quality, and Environment (HSQE) function. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with company policies and safety regulations, as well as developing and implementing effective safety strategies.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement HSQE policies and procedures in accordance with company standards
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify and mitigate risks
- Provide training and guidance to employees on HSQE procedures and best practices
- Manage and coordinate safety induction and training requirements for all employees and sub-contractors
- Review and update company risk assessments, safe operating procedures, and safety statement
- Prepare and submit health and safety tender submissions
- Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and regulations
- Proven experience in HSQE management, preferably in a similar industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
