Bela Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Health & Safety Business Partner to join our team in Downpatrick, Northern Ireland. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a modern manufacturing facility with a progressive and forward-thinking business.
About the RoleAs a Health & Safety Business Partner, you will be responsible for supporting company-wide Health & Safety Standards in a manufacturing business. You will work closely with a strong team of 4 to drive excellence across H&S in one of 4 sites. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Implementing and maintaining Health & Safety policies and procedures
- Conducting risk assessments and developing mitigation strategies
- Providing training and guidance to employees on Health & Safety procedures
- Monitoring and reporting on Health & Safety performance
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- At least 2+ years of Health & Safety experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Strong IT skills and excellent organizational, communication, planning, and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in report writing and root cause analysis
- Relevant degree or certifications/qualifications in Health & Safety Management
